Thank you for visiting my website.
I write contemporary fiction about families with a tiny hint of Noir and a lot of romance.
My latest title, The Island Child is a page-turning (standalone) Book 5 in the ‘sensational’ (NetGalley) Love on the Island Series, set on the quirky Åland Islands which lie in the stunningly beautiful Finnish archipelago.
In my previous life, I’ve been a BBC journalist, bookseller and magazine editor. Originally from Finland, I’ve lived in the UK for the best part of my life.
Since taking the bold step to enrol on an MA in Creative Writing course at Bath Spa University, I’ve written 13 fiction titles, all set at least partly in Finland or Sweden. See the Books section of this website to find out more.
I’m a member of the Romantic Novelists’ Association and act as Nordic Ambassador for the Alliance of Independent Authors. I also help other writers publish and market their books. Go here if you’d like to know more about my blog and books on self-publishing.
While my books are more about love than murder, I am addicted to Nordic Noir. My other guilty pleasure is dancing to Abba songs when nobody’s watching.
My novels and nonfiction titles are available in good bookshops and online on Amazon. You can also read them for free with the Kindle Unlimited Programme. Tap the image below to find out more.
