It was a bit nerve wracking to get public transport from Naples airport (bus & train) to Salerno, but it all worked out ok.
🚍🚆
It’s lovely and hot (for us) here, 25C, sunny, and not too touristy. We’ve had our first long lunch and now chilling on our terrace.

I’m glad we came although we were wondering up till the last minute if we’ll make it.

Walking in my characters’ footsteps from the Love on the Island series earlier this week was so strange.

Here is a bench on the main shopping street in Mariehamn on the Åland Islands where three of my characters, Alicia, Patrick, and Mia have a dramatic meeting in the next book, An Island Heatwave.

I’m back on the Åland Islands and it’s like stepping inside my series of books set here. It’s been such a long time I was here last and it’s strange seeing all the places where my imaginary characters sort out their lives. I’m almost expecting to run into Alicia, Patrick, Frida, or Hilda!
